And the world turns and he wakes up in the dark
It all happened so fast
And his eyes burn and his breathing comes hard
And he hears his own heart
And he’s bunking off of school ‘cos he’s sick of being spoon-fed
Everything’s Cool

And he’s so cool, he don’t even get dressed
He just lies around in bed
He’s a fat fool and he’s so depressed
He buries his head
And his mother sends a note just to keep his smile afloat
Everything’s cool…..
And he put his hands up

And the world turns into a new day
And he goes out to play
And what he learns is harder to say
There isn’t a way
And he knows that he’s a fool but there’s bigger fools at school
