Simon's first entry

Oooh - how I laughed after writing the title. Alas, if you were now hoping for the tale of my cherry being picked, prepare yourselves for disappointment. That is a particularly sordid yarn to be shared over a beer at the bar. Trust me - it's an awful story that'll make you cringe and your gussets dry out in sympathy. No priests are involved.

Anyway - we are back into the rehearsal studios tomorrow to get up to speed for some forthcoming gigs. The cobwebs are gradually being blown away and my senior moments as to how the bloody songs go are lessening with each bollocking from Alan. We are also in the process of developing a couple of new numbers - Good Dog is coming along nicely as is an as yet untitled track based on some of Al's riffology with Jaff's lyrics. Before we rehearse I am off to pick up Hamstall Ridware's mellotron from Abbey Road studios where it has just been utilised on the forthcoming charity single by U2 and Green Day. I will try and get some pics to post. But I promise nothing.

Anyway - I shall checking out the open mic night at the Frog & Fiddle in Cheltenham to get us on there. We will keep you posted as to when and if we shall decend on the unsuspecting student population.

Easy Now!

We put the icing on the cake today.

It may not seem like much to you, but Simone de Beauvoir and I were busy beavering away on the site. It must have taken at least 35-40 minutes to add the last bit of 'gloss', after which we felt a bit tired and had to go for a lie down.

Tonight, after a period of recuperation, I uploaded the latest pages and the site c'est fini, for now.

All we need to do now is set up the myspace site, finish recording the tunes, do some gigs, get a £3 million deal and slouch idly in the pop hall of fame. It's as simple as that.

P.S. I searched high and low for good individual shots to use for the mouse-overs on the band page. Despite this, some of us still look like cheddars.... you know who you are.

It Lives.......

OK, the website is up, finally

Loads to do still, like write most of the text, add the lyrics, put some stuff on myspace etc.

But the free tunes are there... and thats all that anyone really cares about.

I'm off to bed. WFH tomorrow so can do some more then
